Our main municipal office is located at 2249 Loop Road, Wilberforce. Gooderham is home to our Building Department office at 1032 Gooderham Street. |
Arena |
The Keith Tallman Memorial Arena in Wilberforce offers skating and hockey and is available to rent for private parties. Wilberforce also boasts a Curling Club. |
Community centres |
Our four community centres are also available to rent for a variety of occasions and offer free Wi-Fi. |

We offer lots of opportunities to play outside at public beaches, the Cardiff pool and parks and playgrounds. Algonquin Provincial Park |
There are two local access points to the southern portion of Algonquin Provincial Park:
- High Falls Hike offers a moderate hike to the base of the falls. Follow Elephant Lake Road to Peterson Road and look for signs to Algonquin Provincial Park's High Falls parking lot.
- Kingscote Lake Access Point is located off Elephant Lake Road, just east of the community of Harcourt.

Bancroft Mineral Museum |
If you’re interested in the rocks and minerals, visit the Bancroft Mineral Museum with over 400 mineral specimens from Bancroft and the surrounding area. Special features include a mining diorama, a fluorescent display, rotating guest exhibits of minerals and gemstones, and a showcase of rough and cut objects. Take in Canada’s largest rock and mineral show, the Rockhound Gemboree the August civic holiday weekend. |

Located in Haliburton's landmark rail station, Rails End Gallery and Art Centre presents contemporary Canadian art, craft and music by local and regional Artists. |
Haliburton Forest Wolf Centre |
Haliburton Forest Wolf Centre is a 58 km drive from Wilberforce, educating the public about wolf behaviour and wolf ecology. The Wolf Centre is a 5,000 square foot facility that houses exhibits, a cinema and a large indoor observatory. |
